Port Forwarding a Minecraft server WNDR4500v2: Firmware Version V1.0.0.72_1.0.45
Hello,
I have been trying to set up a Minecraft server but it only works with my PC that's connected to my Netgear router (I've asked others outside of my house to try to join). Also port checkers say that my ports are not open.
On my PC I have:
-Setup a static Ipv4 address: 192.168.1.69
-Allowed the port 25565 through windows defender firewall
-My other IP on whatsmyip is: 178.51.x.x
On my netgear router (that is connected to a router/modem look up TCG300 it's a Belgian modem/router) I have:
-Port forwarded:
-Service name: Minecraft
-External Start Port: 25565
-External End Port: 25565
-Internal Start Port: 25565
-Internal End Port: 25565
-Internal IP-adress: 192.168.1.69
-Set my NAT to open
Does anyone know how to solve this?
Thanks in advance.

Fixed it by port forwarding my modem/router

Be sure to mark your thread solved so others will know.
Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for General Router products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with older routers and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:
