Port forwarding dont open ports

The correct model, is Nighthawk(R) X4S R7800.

I have a static IP adress, and my netbox is setup in bridge mode.

I have setup two port forwarding rules for port 88 and port 1088.

Even if i disable my firewall (Eset), i get this result from https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/

Port 88 is closed on 212.37.152.80.

BTW - I have setup my firewall to accept acces on port 88/1088, but no firewall must be the ultimate check.

This is the main problem. I have tried to solve it over the last weeks, and one advice i got was to setup the static IP correct,  so it uses the static ip instead of using the "Get Dynamically from ISP", but if i use the values from "Connection Status" , i get no internet connection.

Best regards

   What is your 'my netbox"?

Ok.  What is listening at those ports on the system at
"192.168.1.15"?  Web server?  Something else?

Is that the WAN/Internet address of the R7800?

Probably not a good idea.  Your ISP probably knows what it wants
better than you do.

Correction - If i setup the static IP, it works, but painfully slow.

I have a fiber solution from a ISP, and the 'Netbox' is the place, where the fiber ends, and i have my connections.

Its a web server. it works like a charm on 127.0.0.1

Yes

Re: Port forwarding dont open ports

The problem is the firewall - It works with the firewall set to 'Allow all', and thats solvable.

Thanks for your hints including the link to another rhread. It was usefull!
