R6250 No internet with 5G connection

V1.0.4.38_10.1.30

On first logon for day, must restart to get secure 5 g connection to internet.  Connection to wifi fine and connecting wired or wireless to (Comcast) cable modem fine but no internet through router without restart of desktop and router.

Thats a modem/router combo device. 

And you're connecting a router to it. It causes a double nat. 

3 options to fix it. 

1. put the DPC3941T in modem only/bridge mode

2. put the netgear IP address in the DPC3941T's dmz

3. put the netgear in access point mode.
