"had to"? Buying a new car usually solves a problem like a
burned-out headlight, but that may not be the only possible solution to
such a problem.

The non-psychics in your audience have no idea what your R7000 is
doing now.

It _can_ be timing-dependent. It _can_ be timing-independent. It
depends.

Re: R7000 Issues
Tftp is your friend. Here is one way.

Using this can be frustrating as it is timing dependent.

Re: R7000 Issues
Sorry so long to reply, but yeah I had to purchase another router because of need for internet. I have been trying the reloading firmware by using the KB but while attempting to set the static IP for the router, I keep getting an error message that it can't be done. When I pull up the properties of the router there is no 4 or 6 IP address but my computer adapter sees the router as being there. Frustrated beyond belief now!!

Re: R7000 Issues
After sitting down and having some time to work with it I have it finally going!! Thanks to your previous posts I finally figure out what I was doing wrong besided being dumb. It has been 10 years since I took classes on networking and setting things up and yes had forgotten a bit, that and with Windows 10 there are changes to the way to get there!!
Thanks ever so much, now I have a standby router that will make it's way to my shop so I will have wireless there!!
