R7000 Slow Web Configuration after Upgrading Firmware to V1.0.6.28_1.1.83

I updated my R7000 router to the latest firmware today (V1.0.6.28) and the web interface to configure settings became extremely slow. It takes more than 30 seconds for a single page to load or change a setting. I downgraded the firmware back to V1.0.5.48 in order to fix the issue, but the web interface is still extremely slow. Does anyone know of a solution to fix the web configuration interface speed?

Firmware version 1.0.6.28 is buggy.  Flash firmware version 1.0.4.28 or 1.0.4.30 and reset the router using the reset button on the back of the router.

Re: R7000 Slow Web Configuration after Upgrading Firmware to V1.0.6.28_1.1.83

Ignore my last post. The web interface for router was fast initially when I did the factory reset. After changing the NAT setting to open in the WAN setup, my router web interface is just as slow as before. What could the problem be?

Sometimes the router times out when I try to click on a settings page and does not load all the settings properly

I rolled back to 1.0.4.30 and factory reset the router again. That has seemed to work. Thank you LeeH

Could you explain how to do this step by step. Do I have to reset router back to default then flash firmware. Or do you flash over 1.0.6.28 (meaning just do the upload the 1.0.4.30 from computer) then reset router(till lights go out). Apologies never had step by step or seen anyone do it. Thanks, I'm sure others will appreciate it as well
