Hi!
My Nighthawk R7000 suddently started to go to http://192.168.1.1/MNU_access_setRecovery_index.htm every time I try to access it from any computer, connected to it - WiFi or wired.
Even if I explicitly write http://192.168.1.1/ or http://192.168.1.1/start.htm , it still goes to recovery.
I tried to pass through the recovery steps, and got the (correct) password, same as I used before. But after pressing login, I got back to the same recovery page.
I tried to clear browser cache and cookies, to no avail either. The weirdest thing is that I *can* login and get access to everything from my Android phone (using Chrome there) and even can use Android "NetGear" Genie application with no problem. So strictly speaking I have a way to do necessary stuff.
However, it would really be nice to restore access from computers as well. Anybody has/had similar experience?
Thanks!

Sorry for the long delay, I was away from home for a while.
Yes, factory reset did resolve the problem; however, I feel that I cannot rely on R7000, so I purchased 2-point Google WiFi mesh, and installed it. It seems to give a better signal and is more stable.

Re: R7000 goes straight to http://192.168.1.1/MNU_access_setRecovery_index.htm
To the best of my knowledge, the only way to configure it is to download and run Android or iPhone application for that. It will guide you through the configuration process. At least, that's what I did.
The address to the router is 192.168.86.1 , but it just gives you links to the Google WiFi application download.
