R7000 will no longer show 5Ghz while trying to connect with devices
I have no idea why but all of a sudden my router will no longer show the 5Ghz channel when trying to connect a device and all the devices i had connected to the 5Ghz had to be re-connected and will only connect to the 2.4Ghz. Does anyone else have this problem and have you been able to fix it??

I have the exact same problem. 5Ghz is dead. Get it working by renaming the SSID... but as everything starts connecting again... it dies

Re: R7000 will no longer show 5Ghz while trying to connect with devices
do you have the R7000 or the r7000P? you put one in the title and the other in the signature.
What firmware version is it on?
Are you using smart connect?

Re: R7000 will no longer show 5Ghz while trying to connect with devices
What actual version of firmware are you on?
That's key with the R7000P. Sometimes people aren't truly "on the latest" as well as it changes or isn't always the best.
Some r7000p's struggled with the firmware that has armor (even disabled). Its why we ask.
