R7800 slow link speed MacBook Pro touch bar

Im having issues connecting my MacBook Pro late 2016 (Touch Bar) to my R7800, the link speed in always displayed as 11 mbit/s. My windows laptop connects at 800 odd. Anyone else had similar issues?

1. Connect the MacBook on a different network and check the link speed. If still the same, contact Apple.

2. Is the MacBook connected to 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz?
