R7960P - Router only shows solid orange light for power
Hi All,
I am beyond frustrated with a recent issue occurring with my netgear router model number R7960P.
It was working well and overnight seems to have broken because of some reason. I have tried restarting and resetting it multiple times and for a couple of days now but has been of no help. I only get power light in solid orange color and other lights never show up and no hence no wifi output to consume. ( Image attached below )
I am unable to update firmware as per the instructions given here as well- https://kb.netgear.com/000064624/How-do-I-upload-firmware-to-my-NETGEAR-router-using-TFTP-on-Apple-m....
I have confirmed that internet is working by connecting my laptop directly via ethernet and also via another router, so definitely some issue with netgear router only.
This router used to be a power house and would love for it to be working again. I am out of warranty, so netgear is of no help here 😞
Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: R7960P - Router only shows solid orange light for power
Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.
Try a different power adapter.

Re: R7960P - Router only shows solid orange light for power
I tried in that sequence but did not help.
I do not have another adapter that i can use right now, so let me try to get my hands on one and see if that helps.
Appreciate the support.
