I have a Nighthawk R7000 wifi 5 router and am looking for an upgrade. What are the best brands nowadays? Any specific recommendations? I’m using it for gaming and my plex server. Thanks! 😁
Not a question to ask in a community run by one of those brands. Anyone who suggests something else runs the risk of being kicked out. (It is against the rules.)
Few of us have tried all products from all brands, but we can suggest that you look at the product pages here.
Try plugging your needs into the filters on the product pages:
Do the same thing on the same pages for other brands, if they exist.
Then check back here for reports on the things you are considering, but remember that people turn up in this community with problems, not compliments. So look at reviews on Amazon, for example.
Having said all that, if you are familiar with Netgear devices, it can be easier to stick with something you know.
