Why does netgear C6300 router not showing update firmware option?
There are several reasons why the update firmware option is not showing up on your netgear c6300 router. Common causes are:-

- Browser compatibility issues: The netgear C6300 router web interface mywifiext may not be compatible with your browser.
- Corrupted browser cache: A corrupted cache can cause issues with accessing the web interface and prevent the update firmware option appearing.
- Network Connectivity error: If your router is not connected to the internet, it may not be able to check the firmware updates.
- Router firmware issue: If the router's firmware is corrupted or damaged, it may prevent the update firmware option from appearing.
- Outdated Router Model: If router is an older model that is no supported by netgear, the option to update the firmware may not be available.
Here are some steps to resolve the issue:
- Check for the latest firmware version: Make sure that a newer version is availble for your router. You can check this on the netgear support website by entering the model number of your router.
- Restart router: If the issue is a temporary glitch, restarting router may resolve the problem.
- Clear browser cache: Corrupted browser cache can cause issues with accessing the the router's web interface.
- Use a different Browser: If clearing the cache doesn't work, try accessing the web interface dlinkap.local using a different browser.
- Browser compatibility: Make sure you are using a browser that is compatible with the router's web interface.
- Reset the router to factory default settings: If none of the above steps work, you may need to reset the router to its factory default settings.
If you are still unable to see the option to update the firmware on your router, Then you can contact Netgear Support for further assistance.

Re: Why does netgear C6300 router not showing update firmware option?
The C6300 is a combination cable modem Wi-FI router. Updating the firmware on the C6300 is accomplished by the internet service provider and not by the end user.
