hi, i have att bgw320 gateway service as modem, r7960p as ip passthru router. It works for few years with disney+, then it stops working for a month now. It is connected to r7960p wifi. Other services work fine like netflix, video prime, discover+, but not disney+. if i use bgw320 wifi, then it works fine with other streaming services. I tried to reinstall disney app on firestick, smart tv, it is still failed with login error. Even i login disney on website via r7960p wifi, it is failed too. I did not change anything in this r7960p for last 4 years. Please let me know any solution for this problem. Thanks
Try a different DNS Server. Here's a few. Also remember to change the ipv6 dns server if ipv6 is enabled. no, it did not work, just something wrong between netgear r7960p and disney plus server. Now I just watch disney plus using att gateway, it works fine, just no DLNA. Thanks.
Yes, i have to set ip passthru in att gateway to use r7960p for last 5 years. It just happened last few months that i can't login disney plus via r7960p wifi, but it's fine with att gateway wifi. No solution now.
I also have a netgear AP in the house, but it not works neither. I want r7960p ip passthru router under att gateway router to get dlna option on r7960p, att router does not have dlna.
Have you tried AP mode on the R7960P to see if the DLNA option is there. I think some routers support this, even in AP mode.
Sounds like something between the ISP router and R7960P is getting block for the Disney service. The IP Pass thru should work to fix that however may not do what you need to.
Looks like there is no solid solution, just guessing. I don't want mess up my router. Like i said i need disney plus login from r7960p wifi , not att router wifi, and r7960p always has dlna option with any wifi mode , bridge/ap/router. I hope you understand more because everyone has different configuration. It works for last 5 years, just failed for last few months, so i give up, wait for disney app update. It's just disney problem. Someone said it works with vpn, but i don't want it. Not sure i can close this post. Thanks
problem is not dlna, it is about disney plus login via r7960p router wifi under att router wifi with ip passthru set up, that is problem, i do not think there is solution in this forum, thanks anyway
