nighthawk AC1900 R7000 range
I have a nighthawk AC1900 model R7000 router. I'm trying to operate a Ring camera that is 75 feet from the router. Neither device can be moved closer. My internet is 5G. The signal strength to the camera is terrible. Any suggestions for how I can increase my signal strength at this distance? Thank you in advance!

That is quite a stretch for wifi.

I don't know what that means. 5G usually means something to do with mobile telephones.
If you mean 5 GHz wifi, then that has an even shorter range than 2.4 GHz. In any case, the R7000 in your subject (or is it the R6900 in the footer?) broadcasts both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
Most IoT devices operate on 2.4 GHz because of the range issue. A device that runs on 2.4 GHz will not see 5 GHz wifi.

The only reliable option is to put a wifi extender somewhere between the camera and the router.
