Have contacted Netgear Tech Support re. R6120 router and was told by one person that this router download limit is less than 90 Mps. My input internet speed is 400 Mps, yet I cannot get even 25% out of router. Streaming TV programs freeze quite often.
Another Tech Support told me that this router output adjusts automatically and should be able to support this 400 Mps speed, so the fault must be with provider. Speed tests prove that provider speed is between 400 and 500 Mps. Anybody have any suggestion? Netgear just wants me to purchase additional support package and I do not know if this is "fix-able" or if I would just waste my money if I do buy the added support.
Hi @Hammerhead111, the R6120 is equipped with Fast Ethernet LAN ports which means it supports 10/100 connections. We recommend going for a higher model to support your ISPs 400Mbps connection.
