Router constantly blocks main device from WIFI
Looking for some insight on why my nighthawk 7000 router constantly blocks my main device I use to connect through the app to the router. Also, I notice device names keep changing and why does the router show my cell phone under wired instead of 2.4 or 5. I constantly have to disconnect my cell phone from the WIFI connection and use 5g and connect remotely to unblock my cell phone. But this will last only fro a short time before blocked again. This issue occurred when my new subscription of bitdefender Armor was activated.

Re: Router constantly blocks main device from WIFI
What router do you have? There's usually a C, R, D in front of the model number to tell us what it is. Its not just 7000.
Are you on an apple/iOS device? If so, make sure icloud relay and private mac/ip address is disabled.

Re: Router constantly blocks main device from WIFI
Thanks for the response.
My router is R7000P and I am using iOS phone, which my IP address was toggled on private. I turn off private, so hopefully that will fix the issue.
Thank you
