About 2/3 weeks ago began having issues where the Orbi
Can I get access to the beta as well. About 2/3 weeks ago began having issues where the Orbi would lose internet connection from my xfinity modem. I tried restarting the modem and doing a manually upgrade to 4.6.8.5. When the issue happens, some 10-15 times a day, usually I get a DNS issue on the webpage.
When connected directly to my modem (a few other devices) this doesn't occur. It strictly seems to happen to devices attached to the orbi system. Some help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: About 2/3 weeks ago began having issues where the Orbi
There is no beta FW currently available.
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

Is IPv6 enabled on the RBR?

Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Yes
The outlined restart process has been done multiple times.
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?
Yes
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
3600 Sq ft
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)?
About 70 ft to downstairs unit. Second satellite has an ethernet backhaul.
Is IPv6 enabled on the RBR?
No. This is something I always disable.
Do you have email logging enabled?
Enabled it after your initial post.

Re: About 2/3 weeks ago began having issues where the Orbi
What mode is your ISP modem working in? Router or Modem only?
Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop
Try #2 first...

Re: About 2/3 weeks ago began having issues where the Orbi
Modem is in modem only mode. Router has been switched to bridge since I recieved it. I always use my own routers so this has always been the setting.
No issue or concern for double NAT
Wireless radios are also always disabled.

Does the front LED turn PINK on the RBR at all?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
3600 Sq ft
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)?
About 70 ft to downstairs unit. Second satellite has an ethernet backhaul.
Also try turning down the power output of the RBRs wifi radios from 100% to 50% and see if this changes anything. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Is IPv6 enabled on the RBR?
No. This is something I always disable.
Try enabling it and see if it helps with DNS issues.
Do you have email logging enabled?
Enabled it after your initial post.
Lets see if this changes anything...

Re: About 2/3 weeks ago began having issues where the Orbi
We are tracking a problem in FW where there is a mysterious reboot of the RBR causing a disconnect with ISP modem or services. Others including me have enabled email logging which seems to stop these reboots from happening:
