GS724T smart switch version?

Hello,

I have just got a 2nd hand GS724T smart switch and want to check that the firmware version is the latest one, however i can't find the version number of the switch anywhere on the unit or in the web portal.

Can anyone help me?

Dear Ian,

Not fluent with a potentially older factory designation scheme I'm afraid.

According to the firmware version, it looks like a GS724Tv1 -> https://www.netgear.com/support/product/GS724Tv1.aspx#Firmware%20Version%201.2.3?cid=amb - and it has some updates pending.

Check the attached type label.

GS724T-100xxx == v1

GS724T-200xxx == v2

GS724T-300xxx == v3

GS724T-400xxx == v4

What is the current firmware version in place?

Thank you for the reply. Not sure which label you are meaning the only label on mine is on the bottom and starts GST714 and ends 000383. The current firmware version is V1.1.0(0416) and protocol version 2..001.002,

That worked perfectly thank you. It's now on the latest firmware version.
