Re: brick JGS524PE
Welcome to the community! 🙂
I have JGS524PE unit all led abmber, not work, and keep in loop like that
Based on this, your JGS516PE needs to be replaced. I suggest you to open a support ticket with NETGEAR Support here at anytime. Kindly state what happened and you can include the link to this post. Also, be sure to upload a soft copy of the Proof of Purchase or Sales Invoice of the JGS516PE for warranty verification. If the hardware warranty is valid, an online replacement will follow.

Re: brick JGS524PE
Hello!
Why Do You think it need to be replaced? Are You Expect Any HARDWARE Problem????
1- if yes then I can replace broken chip - main uC or another ?
2- if not - is firmware problem i can blow new one
The program is in MX25L3206E-12G, and this is 32mbit flash memory. If this content is broken, then I can reflash it using any external flash programmer form provided HEX file
also board include Nuvoton M058SLAN 32bit arm micro controller, if this is problem then also I can re-flash if needed, but it looks like this is more for LED control and FAN
3- if this forum does not have enough qualified person to understand problem on electronic level, then I will need link to correct support team to get guide on next level
4- If 1 -3 not applicable - then I need to transplant flash content from another working unit and share solution with others user on the forum, because problem is common and frequent, but I can’t find any solution other than - if is broken buy new one, or replace on warranty by NETGAR - similar and booth are NOT ENVAIOMATNATL FRENDLY, we produce more electronic rubbish instead fixing them and using again

Yes, the hardware is faulty that is why it needs to be replaced. Be informed that the warranty will be voided once you have opened the enclosure of the switch.
