Unable to install apps Beta 6.6.1 T220 Beta 3

As said in the subject apps install is not possible with beta 3.

I tested this with Resilio Sync and it installed just fine.

What apps did you try?  What specific symptoms are you seeing?

.deb not upoaded by the nas. Plex, logitech media server...

I confirm this.

I cannot anymore manually install Plex Server (.deb) with Beta3. Reverted to beta2 and I could install it fine.

Ok, I didn't try uploading a deb.  Looks like someone else has already confirmed that doesn't work.

I can confirm that there is an issue with the Apps preloaded in to the App store on my RN312 (Intel) running 6.6.1 Beta 3, like Joomla, phpmyadmin etc I cannot install, however if I download these apps from apps.readynas.com then they install/Uninstall etc.

I have also noticed that if you had Apps installed with 6.6.0 and earlier and you try to uninstall them while running 6.6.1 (I have noticed it with all 3 Betas) then they fail to uninstall for me. If I go back to 6.6.0 then App functionality is restored.

I don't have any issues installing plex from .deb (Any fw to date) as this is my preferred method for updating the app as it insures I have the very latest version.

As mentoned in the Beta notes, there is an issue with apps but it doesn't really add anything to the extent of the issues and it seems that issues manifest different depending on device.

Well, that did work for me (as noted above).  I installed them from available apps.  

Are you using a static IP address?   It is possible that the NAS can't reach the internet - perhaps check the DNS configuration.

How soon until the next build?  I havn't been able to update PLEX either.  Glad to see it's a issue with this Beta and not something else.

Hopefully soon, but as we're getting pretty close to Christmas now it may not be till after the Christmas break.

Looks like you got it out just in time!  I've installed it and so far so good.  I was able to install and update a app that i couldn't before.  That problem now seems fixed.
