ReadyCloud Android issue

Hello 

I have the last updat on my RN104

 

I have a issue  i have given permission to a folder that i created to friend off mine, and now i notice a problem.

On is acess to the readycloud web he can only view his folder  and the folder i shared as the image from his acess

on the mobile app for android he can see all my folders is that normal ?

 

and on the readycloud site i have only give him the permition to his folder all the other i set them in disable mode.

does any one has the same problem or just me.

Hello Holiveira,

 

Although they all show up in the app, I believe he wouldn't be able to access the folders that he was not invited to access.

Hello i have instaled the app and i log in whit my friend credencial and i cant acess the folder tha i have shared to him when i try to open the folder it pops a window to insert user and password.

The user has permition on readycloud to read and write to the folder

The invited user should have access to the folder without authentication required,did you set file access of the share?to determine the issue,can you please create a new share and give access to your friend?

Hello 

I have whent to the readycloud site and invite my friend and give full acess to read and write permition.

qhen my friend logs in to the ready clou by the site he sees and enter the folder by the mobile app i does not.

I have created a  new share like the image

andre 2.pngand removed the everyone acess to AMB AFP FTP AND on the File Acess

the i whent to readycloud site and send him a invet to the folder whit full acess , whit read and write acess on the folder. when he tryes to acees the folder via mobile it asks for credential on the site it does not

help

Hello Holiveira,

 

Can your friend access that same share when he logs in to ReadyCloud portal not app? You did not have to remove and change anything in the share's permission for those file protocols, I suggest you put them all back before you changed them. Please check if your friend's ReadyCloud account is marked/checked under Network Access of the share.

hello he can acess then by the redycloud portal on a computer but he can not acesss by mobile app it ask for credentials even in the new folder that i created and give him permition and on the network acess the uses is marked as read and write permitions i have set the permition to everyone to read i will see what will appen then i will report back

Hello Holiveira,

 

Can you try logging in as the main ReadyCloud account and see if you will be ask for credentials when opening the same folder?

Hello i have created a new folder and with the default permitions and it workes ok now i need to set the permitions acording to my needs. thanks for your help
