Readynas RN 102 can't connect to admin page
I've been trying to upgrade drives and haven't been successful but now I can't connect to the NAS with the original drives.
I just get "Site can't be reached." Plex is still working and I can access the plex server and Readycloud finds the NAS but when I click manage I get the same error.
I have a lot of data stored that I really need to get off the drives Please Help!

What status is RAIDar giving you?

Re: Readynas RN 102 can't connect to admin page
I can ping the IP and I can access the Plex server by adding the extension to the same IP. I can access the Plex files as a network location but my mapped drives don't work.

Healthy, both drives have a green check mark.
Can you run the diagnostics via RAIDar?

Re: Readynas RN 102 can't connect to admin page
Are you mapping by IP address or NAS Name? If by name, try via address. Of course, if that fixes it and you've not made the address fixed, you'll want to do that. It's better to do an address reservation in your router than a static IP in the NAS.

Re: Readynas RN 102 can't connect to admin page
I tried mapping IP and name and nothing works. The one folder I have mapped via name doesn't work any longer. Windows did find it as a network device and I can access the Plex folders only. I can ping the IP and ReadyCloud finds the correct IP as well.

I can't remember if I tried that. I tried pulling logs but it asked for user name and password and my normal nas user name and password didn't work.
You should be using admin as the username (and the NAS admin password).

admin is my normal user name. I know my password and it says it was incorrect.
Did you try the default password (which is password)?

Tried that too. Still "incorrect password"
Are you also getting incorrect password when you access https://nas-ip-address/admin (using the correct IP address of course)?
You could try an OS reinstall. That will reset the admin password back to password.

Re: Readynas RN 102 can't connect to admin page
I just get "this site can't re reached" "refused to connect"
Can I reinstall the OS without losing data? How do I do that with access using the IP?

OS reinstall doesn't affect data. You need to do it from the front panel - you can't do it over IP. See page 20 here:
It will
- partially reinstall the OS
- reset the network configuration to use DHCP
- turn off volume quota (which can be re-enabled from the volume settings wheel)
- reset the admin password to password.
Not sure it will help in your case or not, but it shouldn't hurt.
I assume you tried rebooting the NAS?
