iPhone, iPad do not see all folders in subdirectory -

Question

Set up ReadyCloud for first real test.&nbsp; Put many folders and subfolders on the NAS.&nbsp;&nbsp; All the folders are there and viewable via Windows Explorer to the NAS devices.&nbsp; Great!&nbsp;Now installed the RCloud apps to my iPhone and iPad.&nbsp; Loads and connects just fine to the NAS.&nbsp; However,&nbsp; noticed that not all the folders containing pictures are viewable via the 2 iDevices.&nbsp;Here is the situation:&nbsp;\Gear\pictures&nbsp; -&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; started off,&nbsp; &nbsp;0 folders or files&nbsp;\gear\mystuff\pictures&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;has total of 42 folders&nbsp;If I view using:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Windows explorer&nbsp; - on LAN&nbsp;&nbsp; -&nbsp; see 42 folders&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Windows explorer&nbsp; - type in 192.168.1.3 /admin &gt; Shares &gt; MyStuff&gt;Pictures&nbsp;&nbsp; -&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; see 42 folders&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; RCloud APP for:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; iPhone&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; -&nbsp; I see &gt;40&lt; folders&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; iPad&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; -&nbsp; I see&nbsp; &nbsp;0&nbsp; folders&nbsp;However:&nbsp; If I take the 2 &gt;missing&lt; folders, copy to&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;\Gear\pictures&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I can see the 2 missing folders on both iDevices AND Windows explorer&nbsp;Am REALLY confused.&nbsp; How do I fix or diagnose?Tom

Ok this is getting silly.&nbsp;Experiment today:&nbsp;&nbsp; Copied all 42 folders&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;\gear\mystuff\mypictures&nbsp;&nbsp; &gt;&gt; \gear\pictures&nbsp;Confirmed:&nbsp; via windows explorer - all are thereBoth iDevices - iPhone and iPad show ONLY the 2 folders put there yesteday!&nbsp;Clearly this is an issue of the Apple apps only.&nbsp;Am I looking only at some 1) cache file or&nbsp; 2) index file of what is stored on the NetGear NAS instead of the real file and folders?&nbsp;&nbsp; Could that be an explanation?&nbsp;Maybe some techie out there can tell me how to fix and diagnose? :-)

Found an answer, but darned if I know why it works.&nbsp;&nbsp; Hope some techie can tell me.&nbsp;Works:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Copy each folder over, one by one... maybe cheat and 2 at a time.&nbsp;Not work:&nbsp;&nbsp; Select all, Copy in bulk&nbsp;/t&nbsp;

Welcome to the community.
Would you please check folder properties-&gt;General-&gt;attributes-&gt;Hidden check box for your none-show-up folders on windows exployer?
I guess "Hidden" check box is checked for it. So you cannot see this folder via IOS readycloud app.
If you want to see it, you can uncheck "Hidden" option for this folder on windows exployer.

Nope.&nbsp; Checked that long ago.&nbsp; Nothing hidden on the attributes&nbsp;&nbsp; as verified via Windows explorer.&nbsp;&nbsp; That was one of my first suspicions.&nbsp; However, even that was not a strong suspicion since ALL folders were able to be seen when viewed directly via Windows Explorer over to NAS.&nbsp;&nbsp; The "no see" was entirely related to the Apple APP.&nbsp;Recall the oddity:&nbsp; iDevices only &gt;&nbsp; 1) show only 40 of the 42 folders.&nbsp;&nbsp; 2) then none&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 3) then when copy them over 1 x 1 all show up in the iphone / ipad's&nbsp; ReadyCloud app.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; So, easy answer of a hidden not make sense as the result was inconsistent.

What is your nas's firmware version? And what is your apple App version?
Which method do you use to copy the folders? Via windows exployer? or via 192.168.1.3 /admin &gt; Shares &gt; MyStuff&gt;Pictures&nbsp; admin page?
I just find that when copy folders via admin Page, the hidden option for folder is unchecked. Via windows exployer, the hidden option for folder would keep.
