File access problems, can't delete files
Hi!
I have a folder which I can't move, rename or delete files. It's strange since I never had this issue before.
I'm a little "scared" of changing the permissions. Can someone help and guide me a little bit?
Thanks!

Re: File access problems, can't delete files
Resetting them is not difficult.
In Frontview, select the share listing from the right menu.
Then click on the CIFS icon for the share you want to change (actually any icon next to the share will work).
After that, select the "advanced options" tab on the upper right.
Set the username/groupname as desired (nobody/nogroup works if the share is not restricted).
Likewise the access rights (read/write for full open access).
Check "Grant rename and delete privileges to non-owner of files."
Check "Set ownership and permission for existing files and folders..."
Then click apply on the bottom right.
The "set ownership" checkbox will clear as soon as you press apply. When the action completes there will be a pop-up from the browser. There's also a log entry.

Re: File access problems, can't delete files
Hi Stephen!
I tried your suggestions but it didn't work I'm afraid.
I then logged into admin page and delete the folder there which worked fine.
Thanks for your time, your post will be helpful for me in the future!
Happy new year to you!
