Painfully slow first upload
Hi!
I am having a speed issue. I have set the backup speed to max, updated ReadyNAS Vault, RAIDiator and naturally restarted. I have tried throttling to 5000kbps, but still I am getting only a few MB/min. I have 100/100 fiber locally. It has been 48 hours and it has uploaded 9GB.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!
David
Edit: I *think* I solved it. The speed setting that the backup job "adopts" is, I think, the speed setting when that job was created. So I set speed to max, created a new job and badabing. Not fast, but significantly faster.
Edit 2: Nope. Speed increase was temporary. Another 12 hours, another couple of GB. I have emailed the support.

Can you contact the ReadyNAS Vault team by emailing support@vaultservices.net ?
