I dont know how to get remote nas to work on my android phone.
Basically i would like to be able to view the files lets say on another computer or on my android phone.
i have dowloaded readynas remote and readycloud on my android phone but it allows me to log in but i cant access my NAS at home.
I have a nas duo v2. i have installed sparc -remote nas ad ons onto the forntviewer page.
The issue is that when i try to download the links in the manual ReadyNAS Remote.it redirects me to some strange netgear page which i cant download.
Now as long as im at home any computers can access the nas perfectly but my issue is how to access it remotely.
My understanding was just installing remote nas will solve this problem but actually it didnt.
So my question is how to access the files on another computer lets say when im at work or better from my android phone.thanks.

Hmm.... You can't install sparc add-ons on a v2 platform, because the v2 platform is arm.
What firmware are you running? If it is 4.1.x then you have a v1 platform. If it is 5.3.x then you have a v2 platform.
And yes, the label can be misleading. See this for more information: http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how-to-tell-whether-i-have-a-duo-v1-or-duo-v2-or-nv-v1-or-nv-v2/...

MS2000? That would be a Stora, not a ReadyNAS Duo v1.
Sorry to harp on this, but I think we do need clarity on what product we are talking about before we can proceed.
