Sickrage not working after re-install ReadyNAS 102

Hi guys,

I've had the Sickrage app installed from @WhoCares_ but I was having trouble updating it to the latest git. So I decided to remove it and install the version from @Mhynlo

After installation, the app seems to be installed correctly; the status is ON in Frontview, however the app doesn't work. When I launch it, the page http://192.168.1.13:8081 opens, but the Sickrage page is not working.

I've tried removing the app with SSH:

I logged in as root and ran

apt-get purge sickrage

Then:

cd apps
rm sickrage -r

The latter command returned 'no such directory.'

I reinstalled the app again, but it still doesn't work... 😞

Any ideas?

Hello lobbie1978,

Logs shows package you installed broke some things. I suggest you contact support to get an L3 expert remote in and fix it. Note that you may need to purchase a per-incident contract as the support warranty of your NAS already expired.

Btw, I just got a new firmware this morning. v6.6.0. I installed it, but that doesn't change anything. Sickrage is still not working.

Re: Sickrage not working after re-install ReadyNAS 102

Hello lobbie1978,

I do hope you did have time to read the released notes of 6.6.0, specially the info about the incompatibility of some apps.

By the way, you mentioned you installed the one from Mhynlo, where did you get it? Is it from the available apps list on the admin page?

Re: Sickrage not working after re-install ReadyNAS 102

Hi Jenn,

Yes. All the rest of my installed apps are working fine. I got the Sickrage app from the Available apps but I also tried re-installing the one from WhoCares. But neither of them seem to work. I'm starting to think there is some leftover stuff preventing the app from installing.

One interesting thing I noticed, is that there is no Sickrage folder and *.pid file present in the /run folder. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Re: Sickrage not working after re-install ReadyNAS 102

Hello lobbie1978,

Can you get the logs for the apps?

To download the logs:

  1. Open the web interface*.
  2. Go to System > Logs.
  3. Click the Download Logs button.
The Download Logs button is marked in red in the screenshot below.

Then you will see apt-history.log.

Re: Sickrage not working after re-install ReadyNAS 102

Hello lobbie1978,

Thanks! There are some errors on the bottom part of the log about Sickrage. I'll see if I can get help with it.

Since you are familiar with getting to it via SSH, this link might interest you:

Thanks for the link. Bookmarked it. Might be useful in the future.

I hope you can figure the log out. I have no idea what to make of it...
