readynas 316: System: Cannot install application MySql Server.
Mysql server is installed... how I don't know... but it doesn't show up in the UI list of apps instaled.
If I try to install it, it tells me "System: Cannot install application MySql Server."
What can I do to fix this?

Ok. I thought from your original post that MySQL was installed, but you didn't know how that happened.

Re: readynas 316: System: Cannot install application MySql Server.
MySQL is installed, because I installed it. I've used it for the past 4 years. However, it no longer shows up in the UI of the NAS and trying to 'reinstall it' fails. I guess it doesn't matter, so long as it works, but I like to understand why things are the way they are.

Maybe download the log zip file, and look in packages.log and apt-history.log for clues.
dmesg.log and system.log are other places to look.
