Upgrading Transmission(by super-poussin) on Ultra (x86)

I currently have transmission 2.32.03. Some of my trackers requires an updated version of transmission however, when I go to the frontview page of my readynas, I keep on getting failed to download image file when I click the upgrade button of the transmission.

I could download the file from super-poussin's thread but I'm afraid I will lose all settings if I uninstall and re-install the new version.

Is there any way to upgrade smoothly without losing all settings?

Install the .bin file via Add-Ons > Add New

Don't uninstall the old version first. When you install the update it will handle removing the old version
