I have been trying to find a way to transfer from my seedbox to my readynas ultra without using my macbook pro. I have had limited success in the shell using scp commands.
Has anyone written an addon for the readynas to "transfer files / sync files / update " from a seedbox or remote site using an sftp client runny on the readynas ultra?
Would be awesome and would be happy to pay for something that makes my things simpler.
Thank you for requesting this .... I was looking for the same thing . If not Sftp a simple FTP CLIENT.
Ive seen it requested before and the result was : "Use front view", but u may not want to "back up" . In most cases u uploaded a new torrent , it finished and u simply want to download from your server on to the ready nas , without the need for a computer.
The issue is and has been stated : there are little to no ftp clients with a web gui ( probably has never been a need before). Sftp would be perfered but almost all seedbox host will provide a standard ftp access as well (more do-able).
I hate the fact that i either have to schedual a "back up" or leave my htpc running to download info from my seedbox server to the nas . When im sure it has just as much capability lol.
Been searching this forum for a few hours looking for anything to help ( by the way thank you to the community for these add-ons you guys rock, ive downloaded around 6 other things during my search lol will be donating)
So i found a semi work around ..... ajaxplorer lets u connect to ftp sites as a repository , you can then access ur seedbox threw that and copy files accross ....
issue: 1)Ssh not available ( php limitation seems a php pluglin modual :php ssh2 is not included in the plugin) 2)No idea of wats going on ... as the gui wasnt made for downloading it simply says ok moving ....... the end lol ( still dono if it actualy did)
