My old netgear was working fine with smart tv. But after replacing it with N750 ( replaced for faster speed), Tv doesnt even show the network , is anyone facing the same network/connectivity issue or can help resolve this issue please? Thanks.
PS: all other devices like iphone, tablets and computers are connected well and working fine.

Solved - I had to reset the SVC and change the wifi region to "A"in TV, then reset the TV to factory setting.
Step 2 - reset the N600 and there you go, TV connected to WIFI.
Now the other TV i tried the same steps, but it didnt work. So i hooked up Apple TV( i had a spare one) and voila , it's working now.

Re: Cant connect to samsung smart TV after changing to new router N750 premium edition WVDR4300
Which smart TV?
Does it have WPS? That's a "press and connect" button that allows two wifi devices to see each other and connect.

Re: Cant connect to samsung smart TV after changing to new router N750 premium edition WVDR4300
Model Samsung - one is UN46EH5300 and other one is 55". I tried WPS button, the green light blinks.TV showed my home network just for a second before the screen went blank, tried again but TV didnt show any network name at all ( green light on router was still flashing though when i tried second/third time). On the router, my security options are set as "WPA2-PSK [AES]" out of 4 below options:
None
WPA2-PSK [AES]
WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES]
WPA/WPA2 Enterprise
Please let me know if i gotta do something else either on the tv or router to make it work. Thanks.

Re: Cant connect to samsung smart TV after changing to new router N750 premium edition WVDR4300
Ok so i reset it to factory settings but all in vain. Not sure what to do with this router. The last resort might be to return it and get a N600 i guess.

Re: Cant connect to samsung smart TV after changing to new router N750 premium edition WVDR4300
Any chance that the Smart TV can only see slower wifi and the router isn't delivering it?
And check that the router and TV have compatible security options.

I reset the TV and router to factory settings but no connection. I got a new router N600 though and just tried it with no success. I tried to change the security options and that didnt work either. Contacted Samsung and no success.

Re: Cant connect to samsung smart TV after changing to new router N750 premium edition WVDR4300
I tried with LAN and it works fine, no issues found. Tried wifi, same probem. Spoke with netgear, they by-passed the WPS but all in vain, no other adjustment was needed in router. I dont understand why the TV is working on LAN but not on wifi?

Re: Cant connect to samsung smart TV after changing to new router N750 premium edition WVDR4300
try a different channel 1,6 or 11
set mode to 54,
try without any security first
if successful then try adding security

Probably a configuration issue. See searay's comments.
In general, LAN is preferable. I have used both on my Samsung smart player. I now use Powerline because it is better than wifi.

Couldn't resist, Smart TV and a dumb ( maybe the dumbest ) router.
LAN connection for streaming is a no brainer.....

Oh so true. If it is there, why use anything else?

Re: Cant connect to samsung smart TV after changing to new router N750 premium edition WVDR4300
I understand if LAN is available, then why use wifi. My problem is the distance between TV and router, the wiring from modem/router is going to be a very tedious job. I got 100 ft ethernet cable from Bestbuy the other day just to see if its the TV or the router or something else. As i mentioned earlier, TV works fine with LAN but i cant use it forever just for the fact that the cable would be lying all over the house, would be a safety hazard.

Unfortunately all this proves is you still have a problem and rules nothing out. Use the cable to check for firmware updates for the TV
