WINDR3400V2 Limiting devices
I restarted my WINDR3400 Router and now it is limiting the number of devices to 10. if an additional device tries to log on it responds with invalid password. Thoughts?

Re: WINDR3400V2 Limiting devices
what firmware version are you on?
Did you try a factory reset?
What modem/gateway are you connected to?

This is wifi connections? 2,.4 GHz or 5 GHz?
Does this apply to everything above the 10 limit?
The WNDR3400 is an ancient (2010) router with old wifi technology.
It should do better than 10, but it is too old to feature in this article.
How many clients can you connect wirelessly to a NETGEAR router? | Answer | NETGEAR Support
But don't expect to be able to keep piling on more and more stuff. Even if it connects your router may strain to keep it all running.
if an additional device tries to log on it responds with invalid password.
Have you told these refuseniks to forget the wifi network and rejoin from scratch? That's a common strategy when you see that message.

Re: WINDR3400V2 Limiting devices
i am currently running Firmware Version
V1.0.0.54_1.0.82 on my Netgear router.
To be clear, everything worked perfectly until I restarted the WINDR3400 (I was trying to reattach my printer), so I know it is not a router issue, more like a "USER" issue. I have not done a hard RESET, yet.

That is firmware for the WNDR3400v2, released in 2017. Different hardware version from the WNDR3400. The 2013 version. Different hardware.
Do you have a backup copy of the settings from your router? You could try reloading that.

If you do reset, create a backup of the current settings before you dive in.

I assume that this is a wifi printer.
You didn't answer the other question from @plemans "What modem/gateway are you connected to?"
It could make a difference.
Because you restarted the router, you might want to restart the whole network in the specified order.
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
- Turn off and unplug modem.
- Turn off router and computers.
- Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on computers and rest of network.
These are just the usual troubleshooting moves that rule out the most obvious problems.
