WNR614- enable traffic meter on netgear genie
I use netgear WNR614. I need to monitor the data usage(download and upload) of my home router. I can not find the traffic meter on netgear genie; I checked the advance tab but no option to monitor the data usage. Kindly help, thanks in advance!

Re: WNR614- enable traffic meter on netgear genie
Probably because that device is the most basic of models. Its an single band N300 device with 10/100mbps ports and the very minimum processor/ram/flash possible to run a router.
If you're wanting more advanced features, you need a router capable of supporting them.

As @plemans says, this is a basic router that dates back to 2016.
According to Netgear's manual for this device, not always the most reliable source of information, the LAN and WAN ports support only 10BASE-T or 100BASE-TX. That makes it slower than many newer internet services and most modern network hardware. This may not matter to you, but be warned that it will hobble you if you ever sign up for faster Internet. It also slows down whatever is going on in your local network. Newer devices support at least 1000BASE-TX.
The wifi is also not be up to much and does not even support 5 GHz wifi.
Nothing wrong with it being old, just don't expect too much, and fancy features like traffic metering..
