20 days out of warranty my download speeds have dropped to 3.04 mbps wirelessly. Upload is 11 mbps
i have reset the router back to factory settings, disabled wmm and checked the mtu and still have the same problem.
Have flushed and renewed the dns
We also have a router provided by the cable company for the tivo which gives me almost 60 mbps.
I'm stuck, talked to net gear but with 20 days out of warranty all they wanted to do was sell me a support package.
I don't want to buy a new router but if I have to at this point it won't be a net gear
firmware V1.0.1.22 - windows 7

Re: extremely slow donwnload
Hi @rikity,
You can try re-flashing the router's firmware then reset and reconfigure the settings. The links below may help out.

Re: extremely slow donwnload
Yes still having the problem. I downloaded the frimware, plugged my laptop into the router with a cat5 and did everything just you described. When I clicked install a warning popped uo saying that I was installing the same firmware, did I want to proceed. I clicked yes and installed it. After the router initialized my download spped dropped to .15 mbps. Any additional ideas?
