Trying to power a conference room IP phone using this device. Source switch is Netgear GS724TP which is spec'd as IEEE 802.3af and works fine with direct connection. With GS105PE fed from GS724TP, it powers up and green light indicates POE passthrough is active. Connecting IP conference phone to either of the 2 "POE" sockets yields zilch (now power). Phone is Yealink CP860 which is also listed as 802.3af and Netgear troubleshooting guide claims this is OK. Tried various cat5e / cat6 leads to exclude. Connected computers on switch are communicating OK. Appreciate any suggestions.

Re: Netgear Prosafe GS105PE POE passthrough switch
Hi Blink61,
Welcome to our community!
It seems that the GS105PE that you have is powered up by a GS724TP. Here is some guidelines on connecting a POE device to the GS105PE.
Here is an installation guide for reference.

Re: Netgear Prosafe GS105PE POE passthrough switch
Thank you John. It would appear that the Conference phone is likely Class 3 (or above). I've managed to solve by providing dedicated power. I've learnt somewhat about POE specs though!
