GS 108 Gigabit Switch Westell ADSL2 + Router set up
I have a Westell ADSL2 + Router (model F90 610025-06) on my DSL. I have a NetGear GS 108 Gigabit Switch (unmanaged) hooked up out of the Router and 3 devices plugged into the Switch (Apple Mini, Windows Laptop, Denon Network Player). Only one of these at a time can make an internet connection. The others do not recognize the Internet being available. It is always the first one activated that is recognized. Is there something that I can adjust or change to make this work so that all can be used at the same time without being insecure.

Since the GS108 is only an unmanaged switch there is nothing you can configure on that device. It appears to me that your modem/router is in bridge mode. The reason why your devices can go online one at a time is that the modem/router does not supply enough amount of IP addresses for the devices to use. Kindly have your ISP take it off bridge mode or make sure that there is enough IP addresses for all of your devices.

I have a netgear R7000 router and a GS 608v4 unmanaged switch that also refused to communicate with each other. I haven't seen the method I used to correct the problem so here it is.
After the router has rebooted turn the unmanaged switch off and then back on. Check your router status tables it should display all wired devices connected to the switch.
Reason: The netgear online documentation says that their unmanaged switches have a default address of 192.168.0.239 which it will apply about 1 minute after power on "if the switch does not receive an IP address from the DHCP server (or does not find a DHCP server)". If your router is still rebooting at that time and you have changed your intranet gateway ip to something other than 192.168.0.1, then when your router finally comes online, the switch's address is now 192.168.0.239 and your router won't find it.
On the R7000 I also selected the" Turn on access control" and "Allow all new devices to connect" radio button option and rebooted via the Allow button.
Bottom line: Whatever router you have, it has to be up and running before you power on your unmanaged switch.
