Any more recent experiences with headless Spideroak?
Hi all!
I have a ReadyNas DUO (debian-based, I believe?) and trying again to get spideroak running on it, headless. Have tried older threads unsuccessfully and wondering if somebody has a more recent procedure for getting it done.
Thanks.

Experiences with headless Spideroak?
Nassreddin,
I myself, know nothing about Spideroak.
But for other users, clarify if it is a Sparc v1 or ARM v2 Duo.?
Do you have a link to where you got Spideroak?
Thanks, Marto

Re: Any more recent experiences with headless Spideroak?
Hi Marto,
How do I know if I have a Sparc v1 or ARM v2? My RAIDar is 4.3.8, if that helps.
Spideroak is a truly zero-knowledge backup available at https://spideroak.com/faq/questions/31/how_do_i_install_spideroak_on_a_headless_linux_server/
Thanks again for your help

Check Stephen's link. v1 has V4.1.x f/ware. V2 is V5.x Marto

Re: Any more recent experiences with headless Spideroak?
It seems I have v1 (no model number in far right column).
RAIDar version is 4.3.8
Can anyone give suggestions on next steps for installing Spideroak? Thanks!

Re: Any more recent experiences with headless Spideroak?
RAIDar version is not relevant, RAIDiator version is. If you log into frontview (https://nasname/admin) you will see the firmware version. RAIDar will also tell you.

Re: Any more recent experiences with headless Spideroak?
Great, that confirms its a v1. BTW, if you expose the web interface to the internet (or ssh), then you should install 4.1.14 beta, otherwise you are open to shellshock.

Where's the beta? The downloads page only has 4.1.13 (http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/20684/~/readynas-downloads)
