Bad Request - No Access to Admin Page ReadyNas 104 & NV +2

Hey All,

ReadyNAS NV+ V2 FW: 5.3.8

ReadyNAS 104 FW: 6.1.8

I have 2 Readynas accessed through a nework switch on a closed network. Can access files fine. Raidar shows all is good and will let me browse and locate.

However I cannot access Admin login, am receiving a 400 error. So have no frontend access Smiley Sad

I've tried 3 different browsers with updates and searched the forums for solutions with no joy.

This fails on both NAS?  Have you confirmed the PC is using an IP address that is on the same subnet as the NAS addresses?

Note that RAIDar will find the NAS even if the IP addresses are mis-configured.

Both are running outdated firmware.  You should upgrade both, but particularly the RN104.  You won't be able to upgrade the RN104 in one step - you're too far behind for that to work.

The RN104 should first be updated to 6.2.5. Then after verifying it's come up fine on that firmware follow this workaround to do the next update.

Is there a way to install firmware without logging in (as I can't access admin logon page)?

Hi TT619,

I think its possible via SSH, unfortunately I do not have commands for it.

Can you please answer StephenB's questions.
