My network cannot reach the NAS. Originally it showed a "share" and "media". Now only the "media" shows up but is inaccessible. Windows network diagnostics says "The remote device or resource wont accept the connection". The NAS does show up in my routers network map. RAIDar does detect the ReadyNAS. I can log in to the ReadyNAS Dashboard but there is an error message: "Device is offline".
When I try to access the share, "media", I get an error message: "An error occurred while reconnecting Z: to \\NAS-A0-80-84\media Microsoft Windows Network: The network path was not found. This connection has not been restored."

Your services configuration was corrupt. I have just rebooted your NAS. Please check if it comes up fine.

Re: Can't access the NAS from my network
Hi ajricaud,
Welcome to the community!
Can you confirm if your ReadyNAS and computer are on the same IP or network subnet? Also, did you get an email notification about the status or health of your drives installed in your ReadyNAS system?
Kind regards,
BrianL

Re: Can't access the NAS from my network
Was this completely sudden, or were there some disconnects happening before (that were recoverable)?

Re: Can't access the NAS from my network
Hi ajricaud,
Download the latest RAIDar utility and try to extract the device logs. If the logs cannot be extracted, continue to work with our support team via email or phone for further assistance. I've also seen the support ticket that you've opened.
Kind regards,
BrianL

Re: Can't access the NAS from my network
For quite some time after my pc booted up I would ocassionally get the error message and icon (in Win 10) that some external drives could not be reconnected. Shortly after that I would click on the drive icons, a Bufallo NAS and the Netgear NAS ("media" and "backup"), and the files would show up and be OK. About a wk ago or so the icon for "backup" disappeared and only the "media" remains.

Re: Can't access the NAS from my network
It could be a filling OS partition then.
If so, support should be able to easily fix it.

Re: Can't access the NAS from my network
The screen says that 4.4 of 5.4 TB are available. Is the OS there or in its own memory location? Support had me do some testing and say that the hardware is OK. They directed me here or want me to pay $75 for support.

Re: Can't access the NAS from my network
I downloaded and extracted it but don't see a way to execute it. Any thoughts?

Re: Can't access the NAS from my network
The OS is in its own partition on the disk.
You could of course pay the $75. If it is a filling OS partition (and it might not be), then fixing it requires some knowlege of linux commands. Do you have that?

No to Linux. The other part was responding to a post from someone else.
