Duo V1 does not boot after reconfig
Hi all ...
NASty issue with my DUO ....
I reconfigured it earlier this week and activated the:
-Disk spindown
- sheduled auto power on/off
Now it does not boot ... (it tries to, the fan runs and everything, but I can't access it ...)
I noticed only today ... unsure since when it is failing ...
At the moment, the Power and Disk1 led keep blinking (disk1 led green)
Obviously I have a whole lot of data on it I don't want to loose ...
I already tried to do a skip volume check on the boot menu (Hold power 5 sec & wait for 1 blink), but that doesn't help ...
I can't access/detect it from RAIDar ...
Any ideas, anyone ?
Thanks,
Stijn, Belgium

Re: Duo V1 does not boot after reconfig
I would first remove each drive with the unit off and test them using the vendor tools. If both disks check out, then I would open an on line tech support case and then edit the subject line of your first post and add the case number to the subject line.
Do Not try any extensive recovery attempts yourself. Do not do a factory default as that will wipe the disks and your data. I will not get on my soap box as my signature says enough.
