Your firmware is ancient unless you typed it incorrectly - the current version is 4.2.31. My 4.2.31 system doesn't have this problem.
My recollection is that this is a browser incompatibility issue. If you're able to update your NAS firmware, try that first. If not, you could try IE's compatibility mode - I think that was the original workaround, but it was a long ago, and the browsers have been updated many times since then.
