Failure with smb or iscsi connection ReadyNAS 214

Firmware 6.6.1

When we are uploading files to NAS via SMB or to vdisk via iscsi connection after few minutes uploading connection faild.

No any messages in logs, it will work again after reboot.

With FW 6.6.1 disabling AV seems to turn into some kind of panacea. You might want to give it a try.

AV is disabled

The logs show that AV is already disabled.

Perhaps try disabling IPv6.

Also your NAS is showing a 100Mbit connection. Are you using a 100Mbit router/switch? Can you try using a gigabit router/switch and see if you still have the same problem?

If not already done, try to install the app "SMB plus" and set the parameters as follows

SMB Version -> SMB3

Oplocks -> disable

Preallocate -> enable

Hide unreadable -> disable

Hide unwriteable -> disable

Restrict anonymous -> disable

SMD encrypt -> auto

SMB signing -> disabled

The app is running fine on my two NAS (RN104 and RN204) since beginning of (2014; 2016) and seems also not to misbehave under fw 6.6.1

Thanks i will try it.

At this moment we cut max size of the lunes after this it has been working for last week without problems.
