Format External USB Hard Drive in SSH
How do I format an external USB hard drive in SSH? Right now, it's FAT32. I would prefer HFS+, but NTFS would do. I want to be able to use it to backup.
I'm running ReadyNAS 6.1.x.
Thanks

Re: Format External USB Hard Drive in SSH
There is a GUI option to do this in 6.2 beta (if you are willing to try that): http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=154&t=77765

Re: Format External USB Hard Drive in SSH
The alternative would be to use SSH and issue an mkfs command on the drive or to format the drive in another machine.
