Front View Back up to USB #19159689
ReadyNas Duo V2
RAIDiator 5.3.5
2 x Seagate ST3000DM001-9YN166 2794 GB
1 x WD20 02FAEX-007BA inside a IcyBox
Attempting a USB back up via FrontView.
I have successfully done this before. However now as I get is is failures with...
"Unable to access source path /Media/Pictures."
I only ever access the NAS's file structure via FTP on a Galaxy S3.
I set file permission to read/write for every protocol. Still fails.
Any ideas?

Can you post the details of how you configured the backup job?

Re: Front View Back up to USB
I was wondering if you had filled in the "path" fields in either the source or the destination, and if so, how.

Thanks for the reply.
Also, have you tried resetting the owners and permissions via the "advanced options" for the two shares.

Re: Front View Back up to USB
Which USB port is the USB drive connected to. Is the IcyBox a USB3 device? Just asking because not all USB3 devices are compatible.

Yeah its a HDD enclosure. Oddly this Back up process HAS worked in the past. But for some reason it does not now.
Thanks for continuing to help

Re: Front View Back up to USB
Have you tried powering down, disconnecting the USB disk, powering on, powering down again, reconnecting the USB disk then powering on once more?

You may wish to open a support case (http://www.readynas.com/support) and see if NetGear support has any suggestions. Post your case number.
