Hard hang on 214

Hard hang on 214

Had a very pecular issue on the 214 today. I plugged in an external drive and the NAS became non-responsive and I had to power cycle it. It's now in the middle of a resync but I was wondering if I can capture my logs and have someone from netgear review them. I had a strange message on the LCD prior to having to powercycle the unit.

I didn't get a chance to snap a pic but it was something regarding mcpu count or something. I am running 6.5.2 currently...

Was it _percpu_counter_add?

 

That error message could come from anywhere.

 

Can you send me your logs (see the Sending Logs link in my sig)?

The logs have been sent, I had a look at them and I couldn't find anything that stood out. The only real bummer is that my array is resyncing which will take hours but I suppose it could be worse.

Which apps are you running?

It appears you use a USB disk with this NAS at times?

I have plex, netgear photo and advanced smb enabled. I was trying to setup an external USB disk for backups yes.
