How to make all shares available to any use

Hello,

I have a ReadyNAS NV+.

I got the NAS configured with a static ip and it is connected to a switch that is using a gigabit router as a DHCP server.

My question is when I make a share how do I configure it so that any user who connects to it has access? When I type the location in windows for example "\\MyReadyNAS" it prompts me with a login for the username: MyReadyNAS/Guest and its password. This also happens when I connect a portable hard drive to the NAS itself I double click the share and it asks me for the same username and password?

Does anyone know how to configure this so that it doesn't ask me for a username and password? Also I would like for everyone to read and write to them as well.

I also did a factory reset before I started these configuration btw.

Thanks in advance.

Are you using the "admin" account on the windows systems? Or a different account name?

I have same problem.
I reset my NV+, deleted all partitions on drives before putting them back into NV+, and now any share I create requires a password to access it. I did not set a password nor do I want one. Just selected default when creating share but any one I create requires password to access. Checked CIFS settings and nothing is set for password. No user accounts, no groups.

What version of RAIDiator are you running?

Under Security > Security Mode, what mode are you using?
