How to upgrade my ReadyNAS Pro 6 Business edition from 6.6.0 to 6.7.0 ?
So followed the instructions from here http://netgear.nas-central.org/wiki/OS6_on_Legacy_x86 and upgraded my nas to 6.6.0.
Everything is working well except for :
- Can't turn on ReadyCLOUD. It just reverts back to off with no error message
- Can't check for updates. Tells me there is no update available even thought 6.7.0 is out.
- Cant manually upgrade it to 6.7.0. I downloaded the 6.7.0 .img file for it and it won't accept it telling me it's the wrong model....
Anybody know how I can upgrade this puppy to 6.7.0 ? I was under the impression that once I was on the 6 train, it would pick up updates automatically and install them.
Thanks for your input.

6.7 was withdrawn and never reached the auto-update servers. Netgear also removed the manual download links.
You can install 6.7.1-beta manually if you wish.

OK I'll wait it out untill the official 6.7.1 comes out.
I do find it weird that it didn't accept a manual update to 6.7.0 when I tried it however.
Any idea how come ReadyCOUD does not turn on ?
Thanks

Did you accidentally grab the ARM image?

It could be related to this I guess: https://community.netgear.com/t5/ReadyCLOUD/Having-ReadyCLOUD-problems-since-3-30-17/m-p/1259697#M73...
Does the cloud page detect internet connectivity?

Is the 12-digit MAC address of eth0 showing as the serial number or the correct 13-digit serial number?
If you set a static I.P. a common mistake is to forget to specify DNS Server addresses which are essential for internet connectivity.

OK so this is weird, about 10min after the error message when i tried to do the manual update to 6.7.0, a message came up saying the upload succeeded and that i needed to reboot it.
I did and it successfully upgraded to 6.7.0 so that problem is solved.
Thanks again !

It's the MAC adress that shows as the serial number 😞
How can I fix this ?
Thanks

PM me a photo of the label on the back of the unit showing the serial number.
