I can not use DD over 230 GB

First sorry for my bad inglish, im spanish ^^

I had my Netgear NV + v1 4 230 GB disks in X-RAID, change 3 discs one at a time for higher-capacity, 500GB, 1TB and 1.5TB, but remained vlumens of 630GB, redid the volume, and reboot the system several times, but never increase the volume.
In the end I decided to create a RAID0, but then I created the RAID5 volume, put the option to mark and read in the forum that I had to use the RAIDar 4.3.8 instead of 6.0, with that I created the volume in RAID0, but the total capacity was 960GB.
How I can reach the maximum capacity to take advantage of new DD?

You could delete the default volume then create the volume(s) you want.

I wouldn't recommend a single RAID-0 volume. With this if any disk fails all data is lost.

It would be better to create a separate RAID-0 volume for each disk.

Hi Hakw,

Welcome to the community!

I will consider and follow mdgm's suggestion. First, backup your data then perform a factory reset. From there, you can create select the RAID configuration you want for your ReadyNAS volume.

For more information about Flex-RAID and volume expansion, kindly check these articles.

X-RAID vs Flex-RAID

Hope this helps!

Seeing Flex-RAID is already in use you wouldn't need to do another factory reset. You could simply delete the volume (destroying any data on it) under Volumes in Frontview and create the volumes you want.
