Been using the RN2120 for a couple of years now and really like the device. Never had to configure or change everything it just keeps performing fine.
Unfortunately the password for the admin account to login to the webinterface can't be found anywhere and it's not the default password anymore.
When I use the password recovery option the email can't be send because we've changed from internet provider over a year ago and didn't think of changing the settings in the NAS.
Is there perhaps a power user login to reset the admin password?
Or is the only option to reinstall the OS from the boot menu?
If you have already tried the password recovery, you may use OS reinstall from the boot menu as the next step. Data is safe in this procedure as long as you follow instructions directly.
OS reinstall. Reinstalls the firmware from the internal flash to the disks. The OS reinstall boot mode can be useful when the system crashes and corrupts some configuration files. OS reinstall boot mode also resets some settings on your storage system, such as Internet protocol settings and the administrator password, to defaults.
