Management service is offline (ReadyNas Ultra 6 / FW 6.9.1)

Hi,
Since a few hours my readynas (Ultra 6) LCD screen shows "Retry Startup". After a few unsuccessfully access to the admin page & reboot attempts, I checked RAIdar (6.3-T1) that confirmed Management service was offline.
A look at RAIDar diagnostics confirms root volume is full :
Unfortunatelly:
1. SSH access is not possible (I've seen it helps in many cases...)
2. Boot menu options are not available (LCD Screen stays stuck on Boot menu, backup button not responding, impossible to reach OS Reinstall)
What should I do ? USB Recovery (mdgm seems to say in cases root volume is full it's not the better idea) ?
Thanks a lot for your help.

Solved thanks to mdgm :
1. OS Reinstall finally gave me access to the management service
2. After SSH activation I found and deleted the big file that was filling the root volume :
# mount --bind / /mnt # du -csh /mnt/*
Thanks mdgm for your time and the few tips.

Re: Management service is offline (ReadyNas Ultra 6 / FW 6.9.1)
USB Boot Recovery involves using the backup button, so if that's not working you might struggle to try to use that.
USB Boot Recovery is probably not the answer here. It won't solve a full root volume.

Re: Management service is offline (ReadyNas Ultra 6 / FW 6.9.1)
Hi mdgm,
Wasn’t expecting a good news but this one freaks me out (no backup).
will I take any risk if I try the USB Recovery OS reinstall (without doing anything if I can’t switch menu options) ?
thanks again
