Management service offline - 3130 - 6.2.3 update #25045000

Just updated our 3130 to 6.2.3 and now the admin page will not connect and RAIDar says the management service is offline. Anyone have a fix for this?

Did you initiate a normal reboot? What's the status of the LEDs?

I did do the normal reboot. My lights are power solid green and network blinking green, all others off. RAIDar shows my drives up and I can get to the share, but I cannot access the admin.

I hope this is not the same as the issue with 6.2.2 when you uninstall an app, the UI will be inacessible due to .conf files that was left behind. Do you have SSH enabled?

I dont think so. Is there a way to do enable it without the admin console?

I would try an OS reinstall (but I won't recommend it). Without the UI, your options would be SSH and TelNet.

sorry mate, but I think you need someone to login to your unit remotely to fix it. Contact support, they should be able to help you.

Thats what I did. It is still acting weird though. It seems to be running incredibly slowly. And now I cannot seem to access any of the shares. I may have to contact support again.

Looks like 4th reboot my have been the lucky number. It seems to be working now.
